Symphony Placements Supports Casey Cares Gala March 19 2016

For the third consecutive year, Wanda Smith and Guests of Symphony Placements attended the Casey Cares Gala in Baltimore Saturday, March 20 2016.

The “AVAM” American Visionary Arts Museum was a stunning venue to entertain over 500 guests on Saturday evening in Baltimore.  The theme for 2016 was  “Be a Super Hero”.   There were many heroes dancing the night away and sharing incredible stories of how their lives have been impacted in a positive way by the Casey Cares Foundation.

Casey Cares, knows how difficult life can be for families with critically ill children.  The core purpose of the foundation is to keep families’ spirits high by arranging programming – whether it’s a simple movie night and a fresh pair of pajamas or attending a major sporting event – Casey Cares makes life a lot better by adding a personal touch throughout the year and making lasting memories for families throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

To be able to provide programs the foundation relies on the support of the community as well as local, regional and corporate sponsorship. Saturday’s Gala raised over $200,000 with ticket sales, in kind donations and amazing silent and live auction items.  Wanda Smith is Chair of the 13th Annual Casey Cares Golf Tournament to be held at the spacious Hunt Valley Country Club on June 20, 2016 and Wanda has been an active Board Member for nearly two years.   Learn more about the many programs Casey Cares offers, upcoming events and how your company team can be involved.
